CheckBeton is Dispositions- und Abrechnungssystem for the deployment of concrete testers, which are directly integrated into the system by means of mobile devices.

The treatment and processing of concrete is subject to many rules and regulations in Germany and Europe. Employees of concrete monitoring and testing companies are responsible for ensuring that the results of testing are recorded at the construction site and forwarded to the German Chamber of Public Accountants.

CheckBeton effectively supports companies during deployment and personnel planning, job order processing, including the capture of local measurement values and billing of the customer for the services rendered. The capture of deployment times as the basis for payroll accounting and an interface to the COBET laboratory program Cobet GmbH round off the system.

The PC components provide all the necessary master data and settings for the system. On that basis, the following program modules are available:

Tender management

The generation of tenders using text fragments, price lists and customer terms and conditions. The direct dispatch of tenders from the application by email or fax.

Job order managemen

The capture and management of customer orders, deployment locations, planned services / measurement values and associated concrete-related data.

Scheduling by means of an integrated tracking and mapping module

Scheduling includes the carrying out of personnel deployment planning using drag & drop functions in a time-scaled graphic overview. The integrated tracking and mapping function enables the depiction of actual employee positions and deployment locations. Both planned routes and distance covered can be visualised on the map. This feature makes geographical deployment planning possible. Released orders are automatically sent from the communications server to the mobile devices of the relevant employees. The central control point is kept informed by continuous transmission of the job order status and the measurement values / service data captured by the mobile device.

Delivery receipt management

The captured measurement values and service data of the given deployment are summarised in a delivery receipt, which is used as the basis for invoicing. The captured measurement values are automatically transmitted via a dedicated link to the COBET laboratory program.

Invoicing

Client- and construction site-related price lists are used, together with a system of discounts, to determine the final prices for invoicing purposes.

Deployment time management

The personnel deployment times captured by the mobile devices and amended by such factors as holidays, time off for illness, time off in lieu, etc. are used as the basis for payroll accounting. The operation of time accounts is also possible.

Evaluation and statistics

In the statistics module, sales and deployment times can be evaluated against a range of different criteria.

Job orders released by the scheduler are clearly listed in the construction material tester's mobile device. In order to process these, the tester need only download the relevant order.

Dependent on job order status, the order will be marked "Assign", "Accept", "Approach", "Arrive" or "Depart". The properties of the concrete, the measurement values and the services are recorded. Confirmation of the services is obtained by both the customer and the material tester signing the Tablet PC display screen. The delivery receipt is then automatically dispatched by email or fax.

Messaging function

This function allows the tester to exchange text messages with the central control point.

Integrated navigation

Once the tester has selected "Approach" status, he will be able to use the navigation software to lead him to the deployment site. Switching between the navigation software and the application is possible at all times.

  • Optimised deployment planning with geographical support.
  • The current status of the job order / employee is available at all times.
  • Any delay or alteration is immediately detected. Optimal short-term planning.
  • The measurement values for the laboratory program and the services to be included on the customer's invoice are immediately available for further processing.
  • Any delay or alteration is immediately detected. Optimal short-term planning.
  • All necessary information about the construction site is available to the materials tester.
  • The measurement values and services are captured at the point where they arise. No paper chase is needed, nor any manual recapturing of the data at a PC.
  • The relevant signatures are provided electronically from the display screen of the mobile device.
  • Delivery receipts are automatically dispatched by email or fax immediately following completion of order.
  • An integrated navigation system is available in the mobile device.
