TARSYS Service is a system enabling the efficient control and monitoring of field workers and sales representatives. It is designed for both centralised and decentralised service providers.
TARSYS Serviceeffectively supports companies during deployment and personnel planning, order processing and the capture of services rendered on site. The software increases both the quality and quantity of deployments, improves customer relations, reduces the need to process data and in so doing brings down costs and raises profits.
TARSYS Service from the central control point to the mobile field worker and back, the time taken to reach the job location, carry out the task and file the necessary report is significantly reduced!
Following confirmation of the services on site, all data required for invoice creation or for the placing of an urgent order is immediately transmitted.
Additional plus points: The central control point is kept informed at all times as to the current location of the field worker (and when he will be available for his next deployment) by the software integrated tracking and mapping system.
TARSYS Service Mobil allow you to seamlessly integrate your field workers into your company processes and data handling independent of time and location.
The mobile components ofTypical deployment areas are all maintenance and servicing companies with mobile field workers, such as the electrical trades, heating installation, refrigeration, solar technology, etc., courier services, delivery services and sales organisations canvassing for orders.
Using TARSYS Service brings significant advantages when planning, implementing and subsequently processing the work carried out by employees deployed externally.
The advantages of TARSYS Service in detail
Since TARSYS Service is designed as a web application and centrally hosted, you have the opportunity to rent the software on favourable terms, rather than buy it.
In additon to the financial savings made from leasing the software rather than purchasing it, there are other important advantages for your company.

TARSYS Service is a system which can be deployed, in various forms, in many different areas of application. A few possible deployment scenarios are given below.
Should your particular deployment scenario not be listed, please get in touch with us. We will check whether TARSYS Service is suitable for your requirements. As a service-providing software company, we strive to make tailor-made solutions available to our customers. We are therefore ready at all times to receive your suggestions on enhancements, additions and adaptations to our TARSYS Service product. Please do not hesitate to tell us about your needs and requirements.
Orders received, scheduled and dispatched centrally & implemented under field conditions
Our TARSYS Service can be deployed wherever job orders are to be received centrally, allocated to field workers and implemented by them on site at the customer's location. It makes no difference whether the field service engineer is deployed to repair a refrigerator or heating unit or to carry out the servicing of a machine or industrial plant. The order dispatched to the field engineer need only consist of the customer's address and a clearly drafted remit of the task to be carried out. The content of the order could, of course, be much more detailed and contain descriptions of prescribed services or materials, or indeed servicing instructions for registered equipment and machinery.
Orders dispatched to groups of employees
Job orders can also be drafted for groups of employees where, for example, these are required to carry out installation or construction work at the customer's premises. In this case, the services rendered would be recorded on the group leader's mobile device.
Meter readings
TARSYS Service can also be used to take meter readings, provided it is possible to define the actual product. It can also (for example) be used within a given job order to register the number of copies made by a copying machine whilst servicing the machine, or simply as a recording device for taking electricity, water or other meter readings.
Delivery / collection and courier services
In the previous examples, the planned and dispatched job orders are amended and/or augmented with data appertaining to current status, additional services and materials. In the case of delivery / collection and courier services (such as drinks services, for example), delivery / collection orders are prepared at the central control point with information on product and volume prior to dispatch to the driver. In this case, the job orders dispatched constitute the vehicle driver's instructions.
Mobile job order acceptance
If, for example, a field service engineer receives an order from a customer whilst on the road, he is able to record the new order using his mobile device. Depending on the situation, he may wish to reserve the job for himself and do it at some later point in time, or he may prefer to have it allocated to another employee, by sending it to the central control point. TARSYS Service can be used to do this, in those cases when the central control point is not manned. This variant is particularly relevant to sole traders, also giving them the opportunity to benefit from the range of advantages electronic data capture offers.
New orders / sales tours
Future sales can crop up at any time when job orders are being processed by a field worker at the customer location. Where the visit has already been planned as a sales tour, potential orders can be saved in mobile devices beforehand, thus requiring minimal additional processing when your staff are on site with the customer. If your field service worker is visiting the customer alone, he can capture the entire spectrum of potential target orders beforehand. In the above cases, all potential order data is already available at the central point and can be used to trigger immediate delivery.
Typical deployment areas for the software are:
TARSYS Service is a powerful software system designed for service-orientated companies. It comprises the following components:
TARSYS Service Central,
for the efficient planning, management and supervision of service orders at company central control, and
TARSYS Service Mobil,
a modern PDA application designed to process job orders with an optimised service-capture facility operated by the field service worker on site.
A list of all the services provided by TARSYS Service, subdivided between the two components, is given below. All functions are designed to support the control and supervision of employees in the field.
Features of the TARSYS Service Zentral
Features of the TARSYS Service Mobile mobile application software
TARSYS Service Central was developed as a web application which can be run in all the main browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) using state-of-the-art technology. This means, the system is available anywhere and at any time. All you need is a PC with a broadband Internet (DSL) connection. No program installation or manual updating is required. The application is automatically updated and operates in the current version.
TARSYS Service uses the most up-to-date Internet and communications technology. Data exchange between the central control point and the mobile devices is provided via the mobile telephone network using state-of-the-art UMTS/GPRS data transfer technology. The fees payable in respect thereof are competitive, irrespective of which telecommunications network provider is selected.
The TARSYS Service Mobil mobile application software uses modern, standard mobile telephone equipment with Windows mobile or Android operating systems. The devices are equipped with graphics display and touch-screen operation and are normally fitted with an integrated GPS receiver. The range of devices available spans between elegant PDAs which can be carried in a handbag and extremely robust units for use in harsher environments. The mobile application is designed to work without permanent connection to the central server (offline mode). This means, your job orders can still be processed even in shielded premises or basement rooms.
Should you have further questions relating to the technology, we will be more than happy to answer them.

The following sequence of events is intended to demonstrate the processing of a job order in TARSYS Service from initial acceptance of the order through to final provisioning of the data for invoicing.
TARSYS Service Central was developed as a web application which can be run in all the main browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) using state-of-the-art technology. That fact alone is nothing special. But we are offering the option of leasing the software (SaaS = Software as a Service). The application is provided on a central server (hosted) and is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All you need is broadband Internet access (DSL).
We are also offering favourable leasing conditions on the mobile application TARSYS Service Mobil. In this case, in order for the equipment to communicate with the central server, you will need to purchase a SIM card (similar to that used in a mobile phone and available from your telecommunications provider) with an unrestricted data access tariff. We can also help you purchase the card and select the tariff.
The advantages of leasing the software are persuasive:
Due to our favourable leasing conditions, TARSYS Service constitutes an interesting and worthwhile solution even for companies with as few as 1 - 3 field service workers.
