Mobile components are used in all our products; occasionally, the entire product is comprised solely of mobile applications. These use various mobile devices with diverse operating systems (Windows, Andoid, iOS), including consumer Smartphones und Tablets, robust devices for industrial deployment and built-in on-board computers and terminals for construction machinery, HGVs, airport service vehicles and buses.
The mobile resources are linked to the scheduler by wireless communication facilities. Through the tracking of mobile assets and the transmission of GPS coordinates, the location of the resources (vehicles, machines) can be shown on a map within the connected Graphic Information System (GIS). The scheduler is also normally assisted by a vehicle routing plan.
