DAISY is a mandate-capable scheduling and billing system for automated mobile concrete pump deployment in the construction industry.
Should you happen to notice an automated concrete pump operating under difficult construction site conditions, chances are that the pump is being controlled by our ERP system: DAISY. The pump delivery rate is precisely measured by us and the job and machine data are transmitted via radio (GSM, GPRS, UMTS) to a central location, where just-in-time invoicing and deployment planning are then carried out.
Numerous additional modules are available to make such systems into comprehensive solutions for concrete pump service providers.
DAISY DAISY enables operating data to be captured and analysed, job orders scheduled, invoices prepared and machine inspection intervals monitored. At the highest vehicle connection configuration level, all data is transferred by radio in a matter of seconds: that means from the vehicle to a central location (or to the workshops) and back.
Job orders are captured immediately on receipt of the initial call of the customer by the DAISY job order and scheduling module. These jobs, which are supported by a secure map planning module based on Google Maps, can then be allocated and the relevant pump automatically controlled via the radio communications system.
The construction site is easily found by the driver using the HGV-Navigation system integrated into the DAISY mobile application using Tablet-PC at the built-in DAISY on-board application. Once on site, the driver simply updates the job order data and obtains the signature of the site foreman on the Tablet-PC display as confirmation. The resulting delivery receipt may be printed out using the vehicle's mobile printer or sent to the site/customer's head office either by email or fax.
The data is received by the computerised order processing system at the concrete pump provider's central control point and job order processing can then begin with a print out of the customer's invoice. The company's statistics are also updated to take account of any special conditions or agreements relating to the various customer construction sites. It is, of course, also possible to issue the more traditional commercial invoices and credit notes if required.
Modules for tender preparation und incentive wage acquisition in addition to warehouse management with linked workshop and consumables management and a host of ancillary functions are also provided by the DAISY system.
Construction projects planned for the future can be managed in DAISY using the integrated object management facility. The directly related tender management option allows individual tenders to be quickly prepared using freely-definable text fragments. Using the prices and conditions agreed with the customer, DAISY is able to generate price lists and customer- and/or construction site-related terms and conditions to assist all subsequent automatic job order billing procedures. Order backlog analyses can then be used to provide a complete overview of project business.
The DAISY OnBoard components manage the necessary machine settings for on-board computer deployment, control all communication between the mobile unit and the central control point, including the mobile application present in the vehicle.
The vehicle is fitted with an in-built BC3 on-board computer linked to the electronics of the vehicle, a printer and a Tablet PC for the capture and visualisation of data.
The software recognises changes in both master and order data and transfers these (automatically and with no user intervention) to the relevant machines
This module includes delivery receipt management and complete customer / construction site price setting options; it creates and prints out invoices and credit notes and is able to transmit the data to a range of Fibu systems.
DAISY contains countless analyses, and evaluations of deployments, sales and pumped volumes at range of company, branch, customer, construction site, machine, personnel and mast sizes.
Export of all statistics (e.g. into Excel)
DAISY Market generates geographically-orientated market evaluations. These gives a clear and immediate picture of deployment and sales by geographical region. They also show the mast size needed for each region.
DAISY Bonus helps the user manage personnel deployment times. The goal is to register the services provided by personnel and their corresponding deployment times, and to evaluate this data and make it available at an external interface for further processing. Services, deployment times and personnel break times can either be automatically or manually recorded in the DAISY on-board computer.
DAISY Service is a combination of the warehouse management and monitoring of consumables options. Parts and services are managed at the warehouse and feature the storage location and its associated suppliers. Warehouse access is allocated using an inbound booking system. The necessary parts and services for individual items of machinery are registered and summarised in the relevant machinery life-cycle data sheet. Workshop delivery receipts and invoices can be generated for external items of machinery.
The consumables management option provides current evaluations and prospective simulations of parts and target dates, enables proactive workshop planning and thereby guarantees the optimal availability of the vehicle fleet.
DAISY gives concrete pump service providers the opportunity to process their entire business from the bidding phase, through planning, implementation and invoicing to final Fibu handover. It also allows deployment times to be determined, managed and forwarded to the payroll program. Warehouse and consumables management round the system off.
