Software solutions - our strengths

Camsoft specialises in the development of client-specific software for the most diverse fields of application and customer segments, including planning and allocation systems with mobile components for construction machinery and service providers, warehouse management and mobile applications for airport services and vehicle hire systems. We bring your project to completion with initial brainstorming, design and implementation, and final integration into your existing IT environment.

Since the choice of implementation tool is entirely dependent on the infrastructure and requirements of the customer, we are completely open when it comes to implementation. Generally-speaking, the following distinctions have so far been made:

• In order to implement client / server applications, we primarily work with the powerful SAP development tool PowerBuilder (Sybase). We have more than twenty years experience in PowerBuilder programming. The applications are so designed, that they can be used with terminal servers (Citrix). This enables not only centralised installation, but also guarantees worldwide usage via the Internet and provides the same ease of use as a client / server solution.
• Mobile applications for Smartphones, Tablet PCs, on-board computers and other embedded or smart devices with Windows, Android, iOS, Linux or RTOS operating systems are normally developed using our own framework, in order to avoid paying licence fees. We also have our own libraries for use with the various communications variants (WLAN, GSM, GPRS, UMTS).
• Here are a few of the techniques and programming languages we use:
• Web 2.0, MVC, MVVM, XML, XSLT, SOAP, JSON, Java, JSP, JavaScript, .Net, C#, Lua, C, C++, PHP
• Through the implementation of countless interfaces for our products (e.g. for SAP, Datev) we have developed basic modules which assist the rapid development of new complex interfaces with the most diverse data-exchange techniques.
